FAQ

What should I wear to my appointment?
Clothing appropriate for a gym setting is best; particularly clothing that allows easy access to the body part we are treating.

Will my insurance pay for physical therapy?
When a patient is referred by a doctor, most insurances cover physical therapy treatments.  We participate with local and national insurance plans for both clinic and in-home therapy. We also accept Medicare, Workers Compensation and no fault.

Is there a co-pay?
A co-pay is a flat amount designated by your insurance company that you pay unless you have a secondary carrier. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company if you have questions regarding your coverage.

Do I need a physician’s referral for physical therapy?
Although not required by state law, most insurance companies require a physician’s referral if they are going to pay for Physical Therapy services.  A referral is not required for cash pay patients.

How long will my visit last?
Visits vary according to your injury and physical limitations. Most appointments last 45 – 60 minutes.

What should I bring with me?
Insurance card, personal identification and physician’s referral form, if you have one.
