What should I wear to my appointment?
Clothing appropriate for a gym setting is best; particularly clothing that allows easy access to the body part we are treating.

Will my insurance pay for physical therapy?
When a patient is referred by a doctor, most insurances cover physical therapy treatments.  We participate with local and national insurance plans for both clinic and in-home therapy. We also accept Medicare, Workers Compensation and no fault.

Is there a co-pay?
A co-pay is a flat amount designated by your insurance company that you pay unless you have a secondary carrier. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company if you have questions regarding your coverage.

Do I need a physician’s referral for physical therapy?
Although not required by state law, most insurance companies require a physician’s referral if they are going to pay for Physical Therapy services.  A referral is not required for cash pay patients.

How long will my visit last?
Visits vary according to your injury and physical limitations. Most appointments last 45 – 60 minutes.

What should I bring with me?
Insurance card, personal identification and physician’s referral form, if you have one.

Is parking available?
Validated parking is available at the Waterfront Plaza/Restaurant Row parking garage for the length of time the patient is attending their physical therapy appointment.

Please notify us 24 hours in advance of your appointment if you need to cancel; otherwise a fee of $35 may be assessed. Your cooperation is appreciated so that we may accommodate other patients.
